On Wednesday evening, the Moroccan national team concluded its preparations for the highly anticipated match against France, scheduled for Thursday in the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup, after holding their final training session in an atmosphere filled with focus and enthusiasm.
All players of the "Atlas Lions" participated in the session, including defender Chadi Riyad, who trained normally with tape on his knee, indicating his readiness to take part in the upcoming match.
Meanwhile, Ismail Sabiri continued his rehabilitation program under the supervision of the medical staff, without joining the group training, as efforts continue to prepare him following a recent injury.
There was a sense of optimism and confidence within the Moroccan camp, as players displayed significant focus ahead of the crucial encounter, aiming to continue their journey in the tournament and secure a spot in the semi-finals for the second consecutive time.
The training session also saw the presence of the President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Fouzi Lekjaa, who was keen to support the players and coaching staff, providing moral support to the group before one of the most important matches in Morocco's World Cup journey.
