Official: Real Madrid Announces Fran Garcia's Departure

Real Madrid has officially announced the departure of left-back Fran Garcia to Real Betis during the current transfer window.

The club stated in its announcement: "Real Madrid and Real Betis have reached an agreement for the transfer of our player Fran Garcia."

It added: "Real Madrid expresses its gratitude and appreciation to the player who has represented the club with loyalty and exemplary conduct."

The statement continued: "Fran Garcia joined our club in 2013 to play with the youth team at the age of fourteen. In the same year, he became part of Real Madrid's first team, where he made 110 appearances over three seasons, winning five titles: the UEFA Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, the La Liga title, and the Spanish Super Cup."

It concluded: "Real Madrid wishes Fran and his family all the best in this new phase of their lives, which will always be his home."

According to various reports, Real Madrid will receive around €4 million from Garcia's departure, while retaining 50% of his rights.
