Alexander Nübel Joins Beşiktaş from Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich has announced the transfer of goalkeeper Alexander Nübel to Beşiktaş, marking a new chapter for the German keeper in the Turkish league.
Nübel, 29, joined Bayern Munich in the summer of 2020 on a free transfer from Schalke 04, before spending loan spells at Monaco and Stuttgart, where he played in the last two seasons.
Max Eberl, Bayern Munich's sporting director, stated: "Alexander Nübel is an exceptional goalkeeper who has continued to develop and establish himself with Bayern Munich, Monaco, and Stuttgart. He now wishes to take the next step in his career with Beşiktaş. We wish him all the best for his future."
During his first season with Bayern, Nübel won the Bundesliga, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and DFL-Supercup, making four appearances for the first team.
On the international stage, Nübel has played three matches for the German national team and was part of the squad for the 2026 World Cup in North America.
