Moroccan internationals Anas Saladin and Shamseddine Talbi sent messages of confidence and optimism ahead of the upcoming clash against the French national team in the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup, affirming the readiness of the "Atlas Lions" to continue their journey, during a training session held yesterday, Tuesday, in rainy conditions.

Anas Saladin stated that the French team possesses outstanding players and great potential, but emphasized the Moroccan players' confidence in their abilities, saying: "France is a team with many strengths and a distinguished group, but we also have our capabilities. I know our strengths well, we have performed well so far, and we will work hard with a collective spirit to achieve our goal."

The Moroccan defender urged fans to continue supporting the team during this crucial stage, adding: "This is the best tournament in the world, and our journey is not over yet; there are more matches ahead. Therefore, we need our fans, and I hope they will be present in large numbers on Thursday, just as they were in previous matches."

Regarding the impact of the rain during the training session, Saladin explained that the team is accustomed to such conditions, stating: "We have trained many times in the rain, and I believe it will not be an obstacle for us."

For his part, Shamseddine Talbi confirmed that the weather conditions would not affect the team's preparations, noting that the players' focus is entirely on the match against France. He said: "The rain is just a detail. We have a big match coming up in a few days, and we will do our best, God willing, to win."

The "Atlas Lions" winger added that the team has regained its physical readiness after the match against Canada, emphasizing that the shared goal within the group is to reach the semi-finals, stating: "We have recovered well after the Canada match, and our only goal is to reach the semi-finals. It’s a match every child dreams of playing in, and the most important thing for us is to be in the best shape and make our fans proud."
