Fabinho Opens Door for Return to Real Madrid
Brazilian midfielder Fabinho has opened the door for a potential return to Real Madrid, expressing his admiration for the royal club in recent media statements, as he finds himself a free agent in the transfer market.
In a press interview, Fabinho stated: "Real Madrid? It's the best club in the world... Who wouldn't want to play there?".
Fabinho has previous experience with Real Madrid early in his career before moving to AS Monaco, then shining at Liverpool, and finally joining Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia in the summer of 2023.
His comments come amid reports that Portuguese coach José Mourinho is preparing to make significant changes at Real Madrid as part of a team rebuilding plan during the summer transfer window.
The 32-year-old Fabinho came on as a substitute in three matches for Brazil during the World Cup before the "Seleção" exited the tournament after losing to Norway, a result that sparked widespread criticism in Brazil.
