Announcement Date for Al Ahly's New Signings

Wael Gomaa, the football director at Al Ahly, discussed the timeline for announcing the team's new signings and the preparation camp ahead of the 2026-2027 season. In a press conference introducing the new head coach, Hussein Ammouta, Gomaa stated, "Captain Hussein is still in the process of getting to know the players, and there are international players participating in the World Cup. We have some time and flexibility to finalize the available players for the upcoming period." He added, "The camp is currently being arranged between the football company and the technical and administrative staff, and it will take place at the end of the month. It is confirmed that there will be a camp, and the final details will be announced once everything is confirmed." Ammouta, the Moroccan coach, has taken over as Al Ahly's head coach for two seasons, becoming the first Arab to lead the club and the second African after South Africa's Pitso Mosimane.
