Referee Team Announced for Morocco vs France World Cup Match
FIFA has announced the officiating team for the upcoming match between France and Morocco, scheduled for Thursday, July 9, as part of the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup.
The match will be officiated by Argentine referee Facundo Tello, assisted by compatriots Juan Pablo Belatti and Gabriel Chadi, with Dario Herrera serving as the fourth official and Cristian Navarro as the reserve referee.
Hernan Mastrángelo will be the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), assisted by Leodan Gonzalez and Tatian Guzman.
This match marks the first in the current World Cup edition where the entire officiating team hails from a single country, with all referees being from Argentina.
The match is set to kick off at 11:00 PM Cairo and Saudi time at Boston Stadium, as both teams aim to secure a spot in the semi-finals of the tournament.
