Eden Hazard Backs Xabi Alonso: He Didn't Get Enough Time at Real Madrid

Retired Belgian star Eden Hazard spoke about Spanish coach Xabi Alonso, expressing his confidence in his coaching abilities and stating that his experience at Real Madrid did not provide him with enough time to showcase his ideas, compared to his success with Bayer Leverkusen in Germany.

Hazard said: "I know things were tough for Xabi Alonso at Real Madrid because he didn't necessarily get the time he needed, unlike what happened in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen." He added that working at top clubs requires patience to give the coach a chance to build his project.

Hazard also touched on the competition in the Premier League, noting that Alonso knows the nature of the league well, stating: "The Premier League is tough too, but he knows the competition well. I hope he can bring what we need (to win). But we can't let Liverpool win either," he concluded with a laugh.

Hazard's comments come amid ongoing speculation about Xabi Alonso's future following his stint at Real Madrid, with several European clubs interested in hiring him to lead their projects in the upcoming phase.
