Referee Announced for Egypt vs Argentina World Cup Clash

FIFA has announced the officiating team for the Round of 16 match between Egypt and Argentina in the 2026 World Cup, currently being held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Egypt will face Argentina tomorrow, Tuesday, at 7 PM Cairo and Mecca time at the Atlanta stadium in the Round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup. FIFA confirmed that French referee François Letexier will lead the match between Egypt and Argentina. Assisting Letexier will be Cyril Munier and Mehdi Rahmouni, with Norwegian Espen Eskås serving as the fourth official, and his compatriot Isaac Bashivkin as the reserve assistant referee. The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) will be Jérôme Brisard, with Assistant VAR 1 Willy Delgou and Assistant VAR 2 Bram van Driessche.
