Contract Renewals for Egypt's Twin Coaches After World Cup
The Egyptian Football Association, led by Hani Abou Rida, will hold a meeting with the coaching staff of the national team, led by the twin brothers Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan, following the team's return from the 2026 World Cup, as reported by journalist Khaled El Ghandour. El Ghandour added on his program "Stadium Al-Mohar": "During the meeting, the twins' plans for the upcoming period will be discussed, after officially agreeing to extend their contract until 2030, along with an increase in the coaching staff's salary due to the results achieved in the World Cup." He also confirmed that a press conference will be held to reveal all details and upcoming arrangements, with the board committed to providing full support to the coaching staff in this new phase. Egypt's national team successfully reached the Round of 16 in the World Cup after defeating Australia in a penalty shootout 4-2, following a 1-1 draw in regular and extra time. Egypt will face Argentina tomorrow, Tuesday, in the Round of 16, with the match scheduled for 7 PM Cairo and Mecca time.
