Jose Gomes: My Relationship with Zamalek is Good, My Issue is Resolved
Jose Gomes, the head coach of Saudi club Al-Khaleej, has stated that there are no disputes between him and Zamalek regarding his overdue payments, following the club's settlement of the Portuguese coach's dues. Zamalek's management is currently intensifying efforts to resolve all remaining cases with FIFA, having successfully paid Gomes and removed his name from the list of registered disputes against the club. In statements made during a press conference held to introduce him as the new head coach of Al-Khaleej, Gomes expressed that his relationship with Zamalek is good and that the crisis between him and the club has completely ended. Gomes previously managed Zamalek in 2024, leading the team to win both the CAF Confederation Cup and the African Super Cup.
