Ancelotti Committed to Brazil National Team Role
Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed in a press conference his commitment to continue as the head coach of the Brazil national team, despite the "Seleção" being eliminated in the Round of 16 at the 2026 World Cup.
Following yesterday's defeat to Norway, Ancelotti stated: "We must continue to work and improve, and find new ideas. I believe this loss is not the end, but the beginning of a new cycle."
Brazil exited the 2026 World Cup after losing 2-1 to Norway, ending their campaign in disappointing fashion.
It is worth noting that the Brazilian Football Confederation announced a few weeks ago the renewal of Ancelotti's contract until 2030, as part of a long-term project aimed at rebuilding the team and competing strongly for titles in the coming years.
