Chelsea Leads Race for Tchouaméni

Spanish reports reveal that Chelsea has made a strong push to sign French international midfielder Aurelien Tchouaméni from Real Madrid during the current summer transfer window.

According to "El Nacional," Chelsea's manager, Xabi Alonso, has successfully convinced the French international to consider a move to Stamford Bridge, amid interest from Manchester United as well.

The report adds that Chelsea currently leads the race for Tchouaméni, despite competition from Manchester United, especially with Alonso's connection to the player from their time together at Real Madrid.

On the other hand, Real Madrid does not appear ready to part with the French midfielder this summer, as he is considered a key component in manager José Mourinho's plans for the new season, making the completion of the transfer complex for now.
