Roma Reaches Agreement with Greenwood
Roma is taking a significant step in negotiations to sign English striker Mason Greenwood during the summer transfer window, having reached an agreement with the player on personal terms, and is preparing to make its first official offer to Marseille to finalize the deal.
According to 'Football Italia', the 24-year-old Greenwood has been a primary target for Roma since the start of the transfer period, while 'Calciomercato' confirmed that the Italian club has agreed with the player's representatives on a five-year contract with a guaranteed annual salary of €4.5 million, along with future increases and performance bonuses.
Sky Sport Italia reported that Roma is ready to submit its first official offer to Marseille as part of its efforts to secure the English striker.
The anticipated offer from Roma is expected to be €45 million, including bonuses and a percentage of the resale value, while Marseille is holding out for €55 million to agree to the player's departure.
Despite a €10 million gap between the valuations of the two clubs, 'Calciomercato' stated that negotiations are still progressing positively, with the possibility of Roma and Marseille reaching an agreement that satisfies all parties in the near future.
