Real Madrid Signs Denzel Dumfries
In an official statement, Real Madrid said: "Real Madrid and Inter Milan have reached an agreement for the transfer of player Denzel Dumfries, who will be contracted to our club for four seasons, until June 30, 2030."
According to various media reports, the transfer fee is around €20 million, which is the release clause in the Dutch defender's contract with Inter Milan.
Real Madrid continues to strengthen its squad during the summer transfer window, with Dumfries becoming the club's fourth signing in preparation for the new season, following the arrivals of Marc Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, and Ibrahima Konaté.
This transfer is part of Real Madrid's strategy to bolster the team after two disappointing seasons in which the club failed to win any trophies, as they aim to return strongly to the podium next season under the guidance of José Mourinho.
