England's Near-Complete Squad Ahead of Mexico Clash

England continues its intensive preparations in Mexico City ahead of their Round of 16 clash against the hosts, Mexico, on Sunday evening, with close monitoring of the players' physical condition.

During the training session, right-back Reece James remained absent as he continues his rehabilitation program to recover from a hamstring injury, casting doubt on his participation against Mexico until the last moments.

On the other hand, coach Thomas Tuchel received a positive boost with the return of defender Jarell Quansah to full training after recovering from an ankle injury that kept him out of the previous match, enhancing the defensive options for the Three Lions ahead of the anticipated encounter.

Aside from Reece James's absence, all other England players participated in training, bringing Tuchel close to having an almost complete squad ready for the tough test against the Mexican national team at the Azteca Stadium.
