Algerian international Ismael Bennacer has taken a new step to secure his future by changing his agency in an effort to find a new club during the summer transfer window, as he has fallen out of favor at AC Milan.

According to "Football Italia," Bennacer is still under contract with Milan until June 2027, despite his loan spells at Olympique Marseille and Dinamo Zagreb ending without a permanent transfer.

The midfielder joined Milan from Empoli in 2019 but suffered a serious knee injury in May 2023 that affected his performance.

The same source reported that Dinamo Zagreb had an option to buy the player for €10 million, but they did not activate the clause after the loan period ended.

The report also mentioned that Bennacer is not part of the new project led by coach Ruben Amorim, prompting him to sign with "Lian Sports Group."

Both the player and AC Milan management hope to reach an agreement with a new club during the summer transfer market that will cover the transfer fee and take on Bennacer's salary, allowing him to end his association with the club permanently.
