Thunderstorms Force Argentina to Cancel Training
Argentina's morning training session was canceled today, Saturday, due to thunderstorms hitting Miami as they prepare to face Egypt in the Round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup.
According to "TyC Sports," the cancellation followed the protocol in the United States, with players limited to gym workouts.
The coaching staff, led by Lionel Scaloni, had planned recovery sessions for players who participated for over 30 minutes in the last match, while the rest of the squad was set for physical and technical training.
Argentina is expected to hold two training sessions on the field before traveling to Atlanta on Monday evening in preparation for their match against Egypt.
The Argentine team is gearing up to face Egypt in the Round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup after securing their spot in this stage following a victory over Cape Verde.
