Real Madrid is preparing to kick off their pre-season training, having set July 13 as the date for players to return to the club's training complex in Valdebebas, marking the start of the first training camp under Portuguese coach José Mourinho following his return to the club.

According to Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," Mourinho will not have all team members available from day one, as Ferland Mendy, Rodrygo, and Éder Militão continue their rehabilitation programs, while players participating in the World Cup will gradually join after their tournament commitments.

The report added that the first days of the camp will be dedicated to medical examinations and physical tests, along with familiarizing the squad with Mourinho's working style, although the club has yet to announce a formal press presentation date for him.

The newspaper noted that most of the pre-season will take place at Real Madrid's training complex in Valdebebas, with no current plans for a summer tour in the United States or Asia unless there are changes to the team's schedule.

Real Madrid is expected to play several friendly matches both at Valdebebas and outside the Spanish capital, although no official fixtures have been announced yet, with predictions suggesting the team may participate in the Teresa Herrera Trophy in La Coruña.

Additionally, the same source indicated that Italian reports suggested a potential friendly match against Fiorentina in Austria on August 1, as part of the team's preparations for the new season.
