Al Quwa Al Jawiya has officially announced the signing of two new players, Nigerian striker Anthony Okpotu from Al Jandal in Saudi Arabia, and Nigerian midfielder Moses Orkuma from Al Ittihad Al Askari in Libya.

The club's management released an official statement introducing the new striker, stating:

"Al Quwa Al Jawiya announces the signing of Nigerian striker Anthony Okpotu to strengthen the team's attacking line."

The statement added: "Okpotu is a player with extensive experience in Arab leagues, known for his physical strength and high goal-scoring ability."

It continued: "We are confident that he will be a significant addition to the Falcons' attack and will form a strong partnership with his teammates in our local and Asian missions."

Okpotu, 32, had a good season last year with Al Jandal in the Yelo League, making 31 appearances, scoring 9 goals, and providing 2 assists.

The Nigerian striker has a vast professional career in the region, having played for Al Ain, Al Adalah, and Al Jandal in Saudi Arabia, and had stints abroad with Qatari club Al Qatar, Egyptian club Al Masry, and Tunisian club Ittihad Monastir. These experiences give him great readiness to adapt to the Iraqi league's atmosphere.

At the same time, the club announced the official signing of Nigerian midfielder Moses Orkuma, stating:

"Midfielder Moses Orkuma has joined Al Quwa Al Jawiya from Al Ittihad Al Askari in Libya."

The statement added: "Orkuma is a smart defensive midfielder with a great ability to intercept balls and build attacks, and his experience in North Africa and the Gulf will be important for us."

Orkuma, 31, has extensive experience in North Africa and the Gulf. He played in Tunisia with Monastir, Sfaxien, and Gabes, had a notable stint with Moroccan club Raja, and represented Qatari club Umm Salal and Kuwaiti club Al Tadamun, before his last stop with Al Ittihad Al Askari in Libya.
