Al Ahly Aims to Reduce Zizo's Annual Salary

Amir Hisham, a sports journalist, confirmed that Al Ahly's management is keen on reducing Zizo's annual salary in the upcoming period. He stated on his program Modern Sports on Modern MTI channel: "After Zizo returns from the Egypt national team, there will be a meeting between the club officials and the player to finalize the matter." He added, "What if Zizo refuses to lower his contract and declines to leave? Will he participate with Al Ahly next season? There are matters we need to wait for clarity on." Hisham emphasized, "The chances of Zizo staying with Al Ahly are high; the player wants to stay, and the club is keen on him, but they will work on reducing his annual salary." He also noted that Al Ahly's management will make attempts with Zizo to lower his salary after his return from the World Cup.
