Rafael Leão is once again on Barcelona's radar during the summer transfer window, as the Catalan club inquired about the terms to sign the AC Milan winger, with the player now a candidate to leave the Italian side.

According to "La Gazzetta dello Sport," Barcelona has reached out to inquire about Leão's situation, alongside Manchester United, Tottenham, and a Saudi club, although discussions have yet to progress to formal negotiations.

The report added that the arrival of Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim at Milan has made Leão's continuation more challenging, as the manager's playing style does not suit the characteristics of the Portuguese winger, prompting the club to prepare for a sale at around €60 million or less, with all options remaining negotiable.

"La Gazzetta dello Sport" noted that Barcelona attempted to sign Leão two years ago, but Milan held firm on the €150 million release clause in his contract when he was the team's star player, before his role diminished over the past two seasons.

Despite the interest, Leão is not currently a priority for Barcelona, as the club focuses on signing a central striker, with Argentine Julián Álvarez topping their wishlist, while officials believe the left flank is secure with Anthony Gordon's presence.

The report indicated that Leão had previously expressed his willingness to move to Barcelona, and agent Jorge Mendes has presented the player's name to the Catalan club on multiple occasions, but discussions have yet to advance beyond inquiries.
