Ronaldo Sets World Cup Record
Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo continues to make history in the 2026 World Cup, scoring the equalizer for Portugal against Croatia during their Round of 32 match.
Ronaldo netted the equalizer in the 67th minute from a penalty, bringing his team back into the game, which is currently tied 1-1.
According to "Squawka", Ronaldo has become the oldest player in World Cup history to score a goal in the knockout stages, at 41 years and 147 days old.
This goal also holds historical significance as it marks Ronaldo's first goal in the knockout stages of the World Cup, adding another record to the Portuguese captain's illustrious career.
