Barcelona Athletic Signs Forward Ignasi Kher Until 2028

Barcelona has reached an agreement with Catalan forward Ignasi Kher to join Barcelona Athletic on a contract until June 30, 2028, as part of the reserve team's preparations for the upcoming 2026-2027 season under coach Juliano Belletti.

The 22-year-old Ignasi Kher joins Barcelona Athletic on a free transfer after an impressive spell with L'Hospitalet, where he had a standout second half of the season, having started the season with Vic, becoming a key player in helping his team reach the promotion playoffs.

Kher finished last season with 20 goals in the Spanish fourth division, solidifying his status as one of the top forwards in the competition, and continued his strong form in the promotion playoffs by scoring two goals in the first match against Badalona.

Barcelona believes that signing Ignasi Kher will add more quality and attacking options to the reserve team, especially after the impressive level he showcased last season. The contract signing ceremony was attended by the club's youth sector director, José Ramón Alexanko.
