Mohamed Shobana confirmed that Mohamed Salah, Egypt's star player, is fit to participate in the upcoming match against Australia in the World Cup. The Egyptian national team is preparing for their Round of 32 match against Australia tomorrow evening. Shobana stated in an interview on the "Number One" program aired on CBC that there are special training sessions for the defensive trio of Rami Rabia, Hossam Abdel-Maguid, and Yasser Ibrahim, focusing on closing spaces and handling set pieces. He added that there needs to be coverage from Hamdi Fathy and Marwan Attia, with a forward positioned in front of Imam Ashour, who will play a significant role and exert extra effort while also fulfilling defensive duties on the left flank alongside his attacking responsibilities. Shobana continued, "Mohamed Salah participated in training and is ready for the Australia match, where he will play an important role by frequently receiving the ball to create space for his teammates, with continuous tactical work from the coaching staff to achieve this." He also mentioned that the coaching staff has informed Omar Marmoush that this match will be his opportunity, with high expectations for him to shine, especially since Australian players struggle against ground play due to their reliance on height.
