Zamalek Set to Sell Hossam Abdel-Meguid to Emirati Club

Former Smouha president Farag Amer revealed that Zamalek is looking to sell Hossam Abdel-Meguid to an Emirati club during the summer transfer window. Amer stated on Facebook: "Hossam Abdel-Meguid, a Zamalek player, will be moving to the UAE. Zamalek intends to sell him to one of the Emirati clubs to address some of its registration problems." Recent reports have indicated that Hossam Abdel-Meguid is close to joining a club in the UAE Pro League this summer. The report further clarified that one of the Emirati clubs has made significant progress in negotiations with Abdel-Meguid and his agent. Hossam Abdel-Meguid has been impressive with Zamalek and the Egyptian national team lately, attracting the attention of several clubs.
