Kane Leads England to Dramatic 2-1 Win Over Congo, Advances to Round of 16

England secured their place in the Round of 16 of the World Cup with a thrilling 2-1 comeback victory over the Democratic Republic of Congo on Wednesday evening in the Round of 32.

In a surprising start, Congo took the lead with an early goal from Bryan Sibianga, assisted by Chancel Mbemba in the 7th minute. England missed several clear chances to score, with Congo's goalkeeper putting in a standout performance.

In the 42nd minute, Harry Kane appealed for a penalty after being brought down in the box by the Congo goalkeeper, but the referee waved play on, leaving Congo ahead at halftime.

In the second half, England intensified their attacking pressure, creating two clear opportunities to score, first through Marcus Rashford and then through Jude Bellingham, but Congo's Lionel Mbasi continued to shine.

Kane brought the match back to level terms with a header in the 76th minute, assisted by Gordon, before he clinched the winning goal in the 86th minute, again from a Gordon assist.
