Krunoslav Jurcic, the former coach of Pyramids, spoke about Egypt's performance in the World Cup, revealing the reasons behind his departure from the club. In statements to MBC Masr, he expressed his joy at what he witnessed during the World Cup, especially from the Egyptian national team, stating, "I am very happy with everything I saw in the World Cup, especially from the Egyptian team. I am proud of their style of play because Hossam Hassan chose the best players who can deliver high performance." He added, "The players of the Egyptian national team can honor their country's name, and they have strength in both attack and defense." When asked why he left Pyramids, he commented, "I can talk about this later, but it was my decision based on my career. I did my best to achieve all these victories and decided to give the opportunity to other coaches." Regarding Zamalek's league victory, he continued, "Zamalek is a great club with a rich history, and when there is a chance for them to be champions, they seize every opportunity. Pyramids was competing for the title but needed more strength to win the league." He also addressed Al Ahly's issue, saying, "They have the best players, but they lacked teamwork last season." On Ramadan Sobhi, he affirmed, "Ramadan is a great man and an exceptional player. I cannot say he caused a crisis for Pyramids, but he was important for my team, and I wish him all the success in his life."
