Ahmed Shobair has shared the latest updates regarding player departures from Al Ahly during the summer transfer window. He stated in a radio interview: "It’s clear early on that Al Ahly will extend the loan of Al-Ash and Omar El-Saai to Al Masry, and if the club wishes to buy them, the red team will agree." He added: "Mohamed Shokry is close to moving to Al Masry, but there are still attempts from Al Ahly Bank; however, he seems closer to Al Masry. Al Ahly wants to market Ahmed Eid after his lack of participation. Will he return to Al Masry or move to another club? All will be clarified soon." Shobair continued: "Talk of American offers for Imam Ashour is just talk, similar to what was said about Mustafa Shobair, and Al Ahly has not received anything for either player." He concluded: "There is nothing official for Mustafa Shobair; he himself has closed the matter for now and stopped discussions with his agent. There are no official offers for any Al Ahly players in the national team except for Trezeguet, and offers may come after the World Cup."
