Spanish newspaper "Sport" has revealed new details regarding Ansu Fati's permanent transfer from Barcelona to Monaco, following the Catalan club's announcement of the deal while retaining a percentage of any future sale of the player.

The Spanish player agreed to a pay cut to finalize his move to Monaco, signing a contract that extends until June 2030 to ensure his stability with the French club.

The report added that Monaco activated the purchase clause for €11 million, as the player's statistics convinced the sporting management, having scored 12 goals in 30 matches with the team.

The newspaper noted that the deal provided Barcelona with a financial boost before the end of the financial year, in addition to saving the player's salary, which helps the club improve its financial situation.

It also clarified that Barcelona retained 20% of the value of any future transfer for Ansu Fati, a strategy the club employs in deals involving young players.

The report confirmed that Ansu Fati's move to Monaco opens a new chapter in his career after spending years at Barcelona since joining the La Masia academy in 2012.
