Inzaghi Maps Out Al Hilal's Preparations
The Italian Simone Inzaghi, head coach of Al-Hilal, has approved the preparation program for the new 2026-2027 season, as part of a plan aimed at enhancing the team's readiness to compete both locally and continentally.
Al Hilal will begin its preparations on Saturday, July 4, with the first training session taking place at the club's headquarters in Riyadh, marking the start of the official preparation phase under the leadership of Inzaghi.
The team will depart for Austria on July 15 for an external training camp that will last until August 3, featuring an intensive training program and several friendly matches.
The coaching staff aims to use the training camp to improve the players' physical and technical levels, focusing on implementing Inzaghi's tactical ideas and building harmony between the new and old team members.
This comes in light of Al Hilal's desire to make up for a season in which the team did not win the Saudi Pro League or the AFC Champions League, which increases the importance of the current preparations.
The coaching staff also decided to grant the international players additional rest after their participation in the 2026 World Cup, with plans for them to join the external training camp in Austria later.
Al Hilal's squad is expected to gradually come together in Austria, in preparation for finalizing the starting lineup before the new season kicks off and competing for titles.
