Al Hilal Club of Sudan is close to finalizing the appointment of a new head coach, as media reports have confirmed that the club's management has reached an agreement with Portuguese coach Alexandre Santos, the current head coach of the Royal Army, to take charge of the team for the upcoming season.

According to reports, Santos will leave the Moroccan team at the end of the current season, as his contract with the Royal Army expires, opening the door for his transfer to Al-Hilal of Sudan without the need for negotiations to purchase the contract.

The Portuguese coach took charge of the Royal Army team last February and successfully led the team to compete for local and continental titles, benefiting from his previous experience in African football, particularly with the Angolan club Petro Atlético, with whom he won several local titles.

Despite Alexander Santos denying, a few weeks ago, that he had reached an official agreement with any other club, stating at the time that his focus was on finishing the season with the Royal Army, recent reports indicate that Al-Hilal of Sudan has succeeded in reaching a final agreement with the Portuguese coach to lead the team in the upcoming phase.
