Moatamed Gamal Refuses Position at Zamalek
The media personality Ahmed Hassan, former star of the Egyptian national team, revealed that Moatamed Gamal, the head coach of Zamalek, declined a position at the club that was offered to him by the management.
Hassan quoted a source saying that Moatamed Gamal officially declined the offer to take on the role of assistant coach within Zamalek's technical staff.
Reports indicated that there are many voices within Zamalek Club advocating for Moatamed Gamal to remain in his position as the team's head coach, while John Edward, the club's sporting director, wants to hire a foreign head coach.
Despite the numerous challenges facing Zamalek, Moatamed Gamal successfully led the White Team to clinch the Egyptian Premier League title last season for the 15th time in the club's history.
