Juventus continues its efforts to reclaim its former defender Tarik Muharemovic during the summer transfer window, after the player caught attention with Sassuolo. However, negotiations are hindered by the financial demands of Sassuolo.

According to 'Football Italia', Sassuolo has set a price of 40 million euros to let go of the Bosnian international defender, while Juventus is trying to lower this amount, despite having a clause that grants them 50% of the resale value, meaning that reclaiming him at the current price would cost them 20 million euros.

Juventus is also considering John Lucumi, the Bologna defender, as an option to strengthen their defense, but the club believes that reaching an agreement regarding Muharemovic could be more economically viable.

The report added that the presence of Giovanni Carnevali, the former CEO of Sassuolo, as the CEO of Juventus, gives the Old Lady's management confidence in facilitating negotiations between the two clubs.

The same source indicated that formal talks between Juventus and Sassuolo are expected to commence this week in an attempt to reach a final agreement on the deal's value.
