Aguero: Argentina Needs a Fixed Number 9.. Lautaro Should Always Play

The former Argentine star Sergio Aguero emphasized that the Argentine national team clearly needs a true striker in the number 9 position, stressing that relying on this type of striker is essential in major tournaments.

Aguero said about Lautaro Martinez: "I don't often share my opinion about my teammates. If I were the coach, I would play Lautaro in every match even if he didn't score any goals. I believe Argentina needs a true number 9 striker."

He added, explaining his vision for Julián Álvarez's role on the field: "For me, Julián is not a center forward in the penalty area. He can play on the wings or as a second striker, alongside Leo Messi as well."
