Spanish press reports have revealed that Portuguese coach José Mourinho is satisfied with the current Real Madrid squad, but he is still urging the management to secure a new signing in the midfield before the summer transfer window closes.

According to "AS" newspaper, Real Madrid understands that signing a top-tier midfielder will cost more than 100 million euros, which means the club will be forced to sell one of its stars to finance the deal and maintain financial balance.

The newspaper indicated that the names likely to leave if the club decides to complete a major deal are Federico Valverde, Aurélien Tchouaméni, and Eduardo Camavinga, as the club needs to provide an amount equivalent to the value of the targeted player.

Mourinho is currently holding meetings with the team players to closely assess them before making a final decision regarding the future of some members, which may pave the way for changes in the midfield in the coming weeks.

The report added that the prices of Real Madrid's top targets have increased significantly, with Chelsea demanding 130 million euros to part with Enzo Fernandez, while West Ham has set a price of 90 million.

Euro for selling Matheus Fernandes, and Lille is demanding about 90 million euros to agree to the departure of Ayoub Bouaddi.

On the other hand, Paris Saint-Germain does not intend to listen to any offers concerning Vitinha or Joao Neves, while Borussia Dortmund is keen on keeping Felix Nmecha. Meanwhile, the list of other options being monitored by Real Madrid includes Adam Wharton, Julian Smeets, and Rodri.
