Al Ahly Aims to Sign Jordanian Ali Alwan
The newspaper "Al-Youm Al-Sabea" revealed that Hussein Ammouta, the new coach of Al-Ahly club, requested the signing of Jordanian striker Ali Alwan, the star of Qatari club Al-Sailiya, during the summer transfer window.
The newspaper reported that Al Ahly sent an official offer to the Qatari club Al Sailiya to inquire about the financial demands for relinquishing the services of Ali Alwan.
The newspaper explained that Amouta believes Alwan is one of the elements capable of providing a strong addition to the offensive line, especially given his good knowledge of his technical abilities from his time working with the Jordanian national team.
Al-Ahly officials are awaiting the determination of the financial demands of the Qatari club Al-Sailiya, in preparation for starting formal and intensive negotiations to finalize the deal.
