Diomande Chooses to Move to Paris Saint-Germain

Sunday 28-06-2026
The reliable journalist David Ornstein revealed that the Ivorian talent Yan Diomande has decided on his priority if he leaves Leipzig during the current summer transfer window, preferring to move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Ornstein explained that the 19-year-old player sees the Paris Saint-Germain project, led by Nasser Al-Khelaifi, Luis Campos, and coach Luis Enrique, as the most suitable option for developing his career.

He added that Diomande believes in the Parisian club's ability to continuously compete for titles, and through this move, he aims to achieve his dream of winning the Ballon d'Or in the future.

This comes at a time when the player is attracting interest from a number of major European clubs, but Paris Saint-Germain has become his preferred destination if he leaves Leipzig this summer.

It is noted that Liverpool offered 80 million euros plus 20 in add-ons to sign Diomande, but the German club rejected the offer, demanding more than 100 million euros to release him.

The French club is expected to begin formal negotiations with Leipzig over the deal's value in the coming period.
