Calhanoglu Continues with Inter Without Contract Renewal

The newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that the Italian club Inter currently does not intend to offer a new contract to the Turkish midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu, whose current contract expires in the summer of 2027.

Although there are no plans to renew the contract at the moment, Inter's management and the technical staff, led by Cristian Chivu, are keen on keeping the player in the team for the next season, as there is no intention to let him go this summer.

Çalhanoğlu, aged 32, is considered one of the key midfield elements of Inter in recent years. The management believes that his experience and technical influence still hold significant value for the team, despite some physical issues he faced last season.

According to the report, the upcoming season might be the last for the Turkish star in an Inter jersey, with expectations of his departure for free after his contract expires in the summer of 2027, unless new developments occur regarding his renewal in the coming period.
