New Updates on the World Cup Contest at Yalla Shoot
Dear Yalla Shoot followers,
As the World Cup tournament enters the knockout stages, we announce new updates to the prediction contest system to increase excitement and competition, providing participants with a greater chance to achieve a higher number of points in each match.
Starting from the knockout stages, you can now predict penalty shootouts in matches that may end in a draw and go to penalties, with the possibility of earning up to 75 points in a single match.
The points distribution in the knockout stages will be as follows:
5 points
If you correctly predict the winner or the qualifier, without accurately predicting the match result.
20 points
If you accurately predict the match result.
15 points
If you predict that the match will end in a draw and go to penalty shootouts, and correctly predict the winner of the shootouts, without accurately predicting the penalty result.
It is calculated as follows: 5 points for predicting the draw + 10 points for predicting the winner of the penalty shootouts.
30 points
You can earn 30 points in either of the following two cases:
First: If you accurately predict the match result, in addition to correctly predicting the winner of the penalty shootouts.
It is calculated as follows: 20 points for accurately predicting the match result + 10 points for predicting the winner of the penalty shootouts.
Second: If you predict that the match will end in a draw and go to penalty shootouts, and correctly predict the winner of the penalty shootouts and the result of the shootouts, but without accurately predicting the original match result.
It is calculated as follows: 5 points for predicting the draw + 10 points for predicting the winner of the penalty shootouts + 15 points for accurately predicting the penalty shootout result.
75 points
If you accurately predict the match result, predict the winner of the penalty shootouts, and accurately predict the penalty shootout result.
This is the highest score that can be obtained in a single match during the knockout stages.
Please note that penalty shootout predictions will only be available in knockout stage matches that can extend to penalty shootouts, and points will be calculated after the final result is confirmed and match data is updated within the app.
We also note the necessity of updating the Yalla Shoot app to the latest version to use the new contest features and correctly track your points and ranking.
At the end of the World Cup, the top 15 ranked participants in the contest will be contacted to deliver the announced prizes. If it is not possible to deliver the prize for any reason, the cash equivalent will be sent as deemed appropriate by the contest management.
