Deschamps' Return to the French National Team
Didier Deschamps, the head coach of the French national team, is preparing to return to the Les Bleus camp tomorrow after missing the match against Norway in the third round of the group stage of the 2026 World Cup. His absence was due to traveling to France following the death of his mother.
Jay Stephan, Deschamps' assistant, confirmed in his statements following France's 4-1 victory over Norway that the head coach will quickly return to the national team's delegation.
Stefan said, "We think a lot about Didier, and he will join us tomorrow. He will be present in training with us, and we are excited to see him again."
Deschamps is expected to resume his coaching duties with the French national team upon his return, in preparation for the round of 32 matches in the 2026 World Cup.
