Milan Submits Official Offer to Sign Gonçalo Ramos.. Paris Holds Firm on Financial Demands
AC Milan has initiated its official moves to sign Portuguese striker Gonçalo Ramos during the summer transfer window, having submitted an initial offer to Paris Saint-Germain as the Italian club seeks to strengthen its attacking line in preparation for the new season.
The 'Football Italia' website reported that Milan made an offer worth 40 million euros, but the Paris Saint-Germain management rejected it, considering it less than the value they set for releasing the player.
The report added that Gonçalo Ramos, 25 years old, is the first choice for new coach Ruben Amorim, and he was also among Milan's targets during the tenure of former coach Massimiliano Allegri. Meanwhile, the player is currently participating with the Portuguese national team in the 2026 World Cup.
The same source indicated that Paris Saint-Germain, which signed Ramos from Benfica for 65 million euros in 2024, is asking for around 50 million euros to agree to sell him, with negotiations ongoing between the two parties with the help of agent Jorge Mendes.
The report clarified that the player's salary, should he transfer to Milan, would be about 4 million euros annually, a figure close to what he currently earns with the French club.
The report also noted that Ramos scored 12 goals and provided two assists in 45 matches with Paris Saint-Germain last season and is also attracting interest from Atletico Madrid, although the Spanish club is more focused on signing his teammate Lee Kang-in.
