The Latest Developments in Zizo's Crisis with Zamalek
Zamalek Club has received an additional deadline from the Egyptian Football Association to present its evidence and documents in the case related to Ahmed Sayed 'Zizo', the former team player, according to what the media personality Amir Hisham revealed.
Hisham said on his program Modern Sports on the modern mti channel: 'The Football Association is moving towards issuing its final ruling after the Egyptian national team's participation in the 2026 World Cup, noting that current estimates suggest the player will receive financial compensation ranging between 20 and 30 million pounds.'
Amir Hisham added that Zizo does not seem convinced by the expected compensation amount, and if the ruling is issued with this amount, he will head to the Court of Arbitration for Sport 'CAS' to claim his full financial rights, which are estimated at about 82 million pounds.
The player relies on the advertising file to strengthen his legal position, explaining that the campaigns in question were directed for charitable and community purposes only, and were not commercial or promotional contracts for the benefit of global brands.
