Officially, Al-Ittihad Agrees to Sell Carvalho Permanently
Al-Ittihad Club agreed to the transfer of its Colombian player Ricardo Carvalho to the ranks of Bosnian club FK Sarajevo, after reaching a final agreement regarding the sale of the remaining period of his contract.
The Jeddah club announced the completion of the deal on Thursday evening, confirming via its official account on the "X" platform that all procedures for the player's transfer to the Bosnian team in the coming period have been finalized.
The federation clarified in its official statement that an agreement was reached between the two parties for Carballo's transfer, wishing the Colombian player success in his new step in his football career.
The club said, "With best wishes for the player for success and prosperity in his future sports career," in a farewell message following the player's departure from the team.
Carvalho's departure is part of the administrative moves to reorganize the first team's roster, especially after a season in which the club did not achieve the results its fans were hoping for.
The management of the club is currently striving to rebuild the team and prepare new elements capable of competing, following a season in which the club's trophy cabinet remained empty.
The club officials hope to correct the course in the upcoming season by strengthening the ranks and making changes that will help the team return to winning platforms both locally and continentally.
