Kolo Muani Sacrifices Part of His Salary to Facilitate Transfer to Juventus

Juventus continues its efforts to sign French striker Randal Kolo Muani during the summer transfer window, as the player wishes to return to Turin even if it requires a pay cut.

The "Football Italia" website reported that Kolo Muani has expressed his willingness to forgo part of his current salary with Paris Saint-Germain to facilitate negotiations with Juventus, who are looking for a new striker before the start of the 2026/2027 season, especially with the impending departure of Dusan Vlahovic after his contract ends.

The French striker is appreciated within the Italian club after his previous experience with Juventus, where he scored eight goals in 16 Serie A matches during his loan spell in the second half of the 2024/2025 season.

Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio noted that the relations between Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have become calmer compared to the past period, but the negotiations still require a final agreement between the two parties.

Di Marzio added that Kolo, who earns between 7 and 8 million euros annually with Paris Saint-Germain, is ready to accept a lower salary to complete his return to the Italian league, a stance he also showed during last summer's negotiations.

On his part, journalist Alfredo Pedullà explained that negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing regarding the final value and structure of the deal, noting that Juventus is now prepared to exceed the 30 million euros initially allocated for signing the player.

On the other hand, Paris Saint-Germain insists on including a mandatory purchase clause in any potential loan agreement, instead of merely having a purchase option.
