Atletico Madrid Secures Grimaldo Deal

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Bayer Leverkusen has accepted the final offer from Atlético Madrid, which exceeds 20 million euros including bonuses and variables.

The report indicated that Grimaldo only wanted to move to Atletico Madrid, as personal terms between the player and the Spanish club were agreed upon last week, before finalizing the agreement between the two clubs.

Grimaldo is considered one of the most prominent left-backs in Europe in recent years, having delivered outstanding performances with Bayer Leverkusen and contributed to the successes achieved by the German team both domestically and internationally.

It is expected that in the coming days, the official procedures will be completed and the deal will be announced definitively, making Grimaldo one of Atlético Madrid's important reinforcements in preparation for the new season.
