The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed that Mohamed Siha, the Al-Ahly goalkeeper, recently requested to leave the team.
Al-Ghandour confirmed on his program "Stad Al-Mahwar" that the player wishes to leave either on loan or through a permanent transfer to secure an opportunity to play regularly in the upcoming season.
He added that the goalkeeper informed Walid Salah El-Din, the former football director, of his desire to leave the club before the latter left his position.
