Raphinha's Wife Denies Financial Crisis Rumors and Confirms: We Live in a Stable Situation

Natalia Belloli, the wife of Barcelona star Raphinha, was keen to end the ongoing debate over news that the player is suffering from financial problems, confirming that these claims have no basis in reality.

Belloli's response came after statements made by former Brazilian international André Batista Santos, known as Vampeta, during his appearance on the podcast 'Red Cast', where he claimed that Raphinha is going through a serious family crisis and financial difficulties, linking this to the possibility of his transfer to the Saudi league.

In statements reported by the 'Daily do Garotinho' website, Raphinha's wife expressed her surprise at the widespread dissemination of this narrative, confirming that her family's financial situation is completely stable.

She said: 'Honestly, I find it ridiculous that I have to talk about my financial situation. Even if we were getting only 10% of what Raphinha earns today, we would still be very blessed people.'

Belloli explained that she had never found any justification to publicly respond to such speculations, out of respect for the social reality that many people live in, adding: 'I see no need to display this on social media, because I am fully aware of the social reality we live in. If I post something saying I'm not poor and still wealthy, people will accuse me of being tasteless.'

She also expressed regret over the expansion of the rumor circle in recent days, noting that the matter has gone beyond the borders of Brazil and reached Spain, leading many to believe that the family is going through a real financial crisis.

Vampeta had admitted during his talk that the information he shared is not confirmed, explaining that it is just a rumor he heard during the World Cup, and that its source is people close to Barcelona's circle, according to what he mentioned.

The former player's statements sparked widespread reactions in Brazil, including a response from Igo Padilha, Raphinha's cousin, who directed a direct message to Vampeta via social media saying: 'You will have to explain these lies, my friend.'

While the debate over these statements continues, Raphinha is focusing on recovering from the muscle injury he sustained during Brazil's match against Haiti, which ended with Brazil winning three goals to none, away from the rumors that his circle quickly and categorically denied.
