Press reports have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur is considering a surprise move to sign English striker Marcus Rashford during the current summer transfer window.
According to sources, coach Roberto De Zerbi is considered one of the biggest admirers of Rashford's abilities, seeing him as a strong addition to the new project in the team, which has led Tottenham to consider opening communication channels with Manchester United.
Reports indicated that the London club does not intend to pay the amount Manchester United is asking for to release the player, which is estimated at £40 million. Instead, they prefer to negotiate a less costly deal during the discussions.
On the other hand, Rashford prefers to experience playing outside England if he leaves, amid interest from Bayern Munich in monitoring his situation, while Manchester United is looking to sell the player permanently during the summer.
