Villarreal Nears Signing Mastantuno

Real Madrid is preparing to decide the future of young Argentine midfielder Franco Mastantuno, as the club is considering the option of loaning him during the summer transfer window, instead of a permanent sale.

Although coach Jose Mourinho wishes to assess the player during the preparation period before making a final decision, the club's management has long believed that his departure this summer is the closest option, but only on loan without any permanent transfer or purchase option, maintaining full club rights to the player until 2031.

According to several media reports, Mastantuno has attracted interest from several clubs after the loan idea was proposed, including Inter Milan, Sporting Lisbon, Tottenham, Benfica, Rennes, and River Plate. However, Real Madrid's management has ruled out some of these options due to their desire for the player to remain in Europe and at a club participating in the Champions League.

The Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' indicates that Villarreal is the closest to securing the player's services, as it aligns with Real Madrid's conditions, including bearing part of his salary during the loan period.

Mastantuno's future is expected to be decided in the coming period, with strong indications that he will continue in La Liga with Villarreal next season.
